Stephen Hawking on AI and Superhumans

Just as we have come to realize that once wild scenarios of climate change have been realized, we owe it to ourselves and the future of our species to listen to those who see into the future on other issues that we humans address through tinkering with the environment and our own species. Stephen Hawking's last words to humanity about, among others, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and superhumans are well worth reading and contemplating. We cannot continue to hide our heads in the sand as a certain species of birds are prone to do, believing that bad things will go away.
